Kabhre Multiple Campus has organized its first national conference under the title Sociology for Business and Entrepreneurship Development on the 4th and 5th of Ashad, 2079 on its premise with the support of the University Grants Commission (UGC), Nepal. In a two-day function, 55 participants from Kathmandu, Bhaktapur, Lalitpur, Kavrepalanchok, and Sindhupalchok districts took part, and out of 55, 46 of the participants were the presenters at the conference. There were altogether 7 technical sessions at the conference chaired by Prof. Dr. Arhan Sthapit, Prof. Dr. Suniti Hada Shrestha, Prof. Dr. Sanjay Kumar Shrestha, Dr. Yogesh Ranjit, Dr. Dinesh Prasain, Dr. Tikaram Gautam and Narayan Prasad Paudyal. The Keynote speakers in the plenary session of Day 1 were Prof. Dr. Arhan Sthapit and Dr. Dinesh Prasain while Prof. Dr. Pushkar Bajracharya and Dr. Tikaram Gautam were the keynote speakers in the plenary session of the second day on the conference. The inauguration program was chaired by the chairperson of the campus management committee Mr. Lambodar Kayastha where Prof. Dr. Bhola Thapa, VC of Kathmandu University was the chief guest, and Mr. Kanchan Chandra Bade, former state minister, Ministry of Industry, Mr. Shanti Ratna Shakya, Mayor of Banepa Municipality, Mr. Dinesh Lama, mayor of Roshi Rural Municipality and Hitler Shakya, Ward Chairperson of Banepa Municipality Ward no. 7 were the special guests. Similarly, the closing ceremony was chaired by the chairperson of the campus management committee Mr. Lambodar Kayastha and Mr. Shanti Ratna Shakya was the chief guest at the function. There were altogether 145 participants in the inauguration session and 102 participants in the closing ceremony.
